The Cally Palace has its own 18 hole parkland golf course, and is one of the finest Dumfries & Galloway Golf Clubs in the area.
Designed by the well known golf architect Tom Macaulay, the Cally Course opened in 1994. The course is for the exclusive use of guests and the welcoming atmosphere will guarantee a relaxing but challenging round.

Sculpted into the parkland surrounding the hotel, its maturity belies its age, achieved by using the natural contours of the land and the magnificent trees, the hidden burns and the Cally Lake. Golf buggies are available for hire, and there's also a practice area and putting green.
As you play the course, there are wonderful views of Cardoness Castle, Rutherford's Monument and the Fleet Estuary. Whatever the standard of your game, you are sure to enjoy the course, and to work up a healthy appetite for the evening's culinary delights.
Our Golf Break rates are for Dinner, Bed and Breakfast per person per night based on 2 sharing and are inclusive of golf on the Cally Course from afternoon of arrival until morning of departure.

This is a cracking nine-hole course with fantastic views over to the Isle of Man in the West and Cairnsmore of Fleet to the North.
BRIGHOUSE BAY GOLF & LEISURE COURSE

Distance from Cally: 9 miles
This course is a testing clifftop links with breathtaking views over the Irish Sea and the Galloway countryside. The natural coastal terrain and water hazards provide an enjoyable experience for all golfers.
KIRKCUDBRIGHT GOLF COURSE
18 holes, Par 69, 5717 yards.
Distance from Cally: 10 miles
Another course which provides panoramic views over the Galloway Hills and the Dee Estuary. This parkland course provides an excellent challenge for golfers at all levels.
NEWTON STEWART GOLF COURSE
18 holes Par 69 5840 yards.
Distance from Cally: 20 miles
Set in mature parkland on the edge of the Galloway Forest Park with views of Cairnsmore and Wigtown Bay, this can be quite a challenging course.
GLENLUCE (WIGTOWNSHIRE COUNTY) GOLF COURSE
18 holes, Par 70, 6104 yards
Distance from Cally: 32 miles
This 'County Golf Club' is a true links course and is situated on the shores of the scenic Luce Bay. The excellent condition of the course, combined with subtly sloping greens and changing sea breezes, provides a test of golf for both high and low handicappers.

Described by Golf World as the 'best holiday course in the South of Scotland', Dunskey is set on the cliffs above the picturesque village of Portpatrick. This links-type course affords magnificent views over the Irish Channel.
