  The Fernhill hotel, located in Portpatrick the ‘Jewel in the crown of Galloway’, is a 36 bedroom thriving hotel looking for a Restaurant Supervisor with a sound knowledge of wines. Our guests expect the highest standards of service from us and you'll do much to ensure it's delivered in this responsible role.
  
  Your day will consist of shift patterns focussing on breakfast and dinner service, you will guarantee they feel comfortable and relaxed and that their every requirement is met. This means working closely with your line manager to control resources, staff development and stock, as well as setting an excellent example to your team through your own performance of waiting duties.

• Restaurant Team Member
  Hours: Full-Time

  Do you have excellent customer service skills, high standards and enjoy working as part of a team? If the answer is yes then come and be part of our first class team. From a warm welcome at the start of a meal to a fond farewell at the end, you'll make sure that every visit in the hotel is a pleasurable experience. Whether you're preparing the bar, carrying out waiting duties or providing room service.
  
  The role will include setting up and clearing the restaurant, tidying the bar / closing down the bar and lounge, carrying out waiting duties, and providing room service on occasions. You may also be required to prepare a clients bill at the end of the meal and involve cash handling.
  
  You'll have a high standard of customer care skills and be able to work on your own initiative to ensure our guests always receive a memorable dining experience.
  
  Previous restaurant and/or bar experience along with relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
  
  Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
  
  Meals on duty are free of charge and uniforms will be provided. Leisure facilities at North West Castle is open to staff at no charge between 10am and 4pm Mon to Fri. We offer ongoing company-wide training initiatives, which will develop you both personally and professionally.
