News from the Hydro (October 2008) - More Awards for Lazels
Head Chef Gordon Murphy and his team have been working extremely hard to maintain the high standards expected of Lazels at Peebles Hydro. And as a result Lazels has won not one but two awards recently.
The Healthyliving award is in recognition of healthier menu choices served daily, Lazels is one of the first establishments in Scotland to do so, and the Gold Food Star Award, voted by readers of the Peeblesshire.
Gordon says “Winning these awards is very rewarding for the Lazels team and I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has worked so hard, and of course, to all our customers who voted for us”.
This relaxing bistro style restaurant combines a varied menu with excellent value for money. It’s the perfect place for all the family and diners can now enjoy the delicious new winter menu.
During October all children under 10 dining at Lazels can enter a competition to win a bike voucher to ensure one lucky winner can maintain a healthier lifestyle.
