The hotel staff can even arrange a local walking tour for the group to enjoy... perfect for everyone to burn off some energy and see the Scottish countryside, whether they have four legs or two!

Pet friendly hotels in Dumfries & Galloway

• At Kirroughtree Country House Hotel, dogs are permitted on the hotel's lower ground floor.
• At the management's discretion, dogs are also permitted to stay at Cally Palace Hotel, North West Castle Hotel, Fernhill Hotel, but dogs may not be allowed in public areas, and they must be attended at all times. We also request that dog owners do not take their pets onto the Cally Palace Golf Course.

Pet friendly hotels in the Scottish Borders

• The Park Hotel in Peebles permits dogs in both bedrooms and public rooms, except where food is being served (guide dogs excepted). This policy makes the hotel especially popular with dog owners planning walking activities around the beautiful area of the Scottish Borders, where mature forests, superb river valleys and charming towns and villages can be visited.
• At Peebles Hydro, dogs are allowed in certain bedrooms on the lower ground floor of the hotel, where they must not be left unaccompanied. Dogs are not permitted in the public areas of the hotel.

Pet friendly hotels in Ayrshire

• At Glenapp Castle, dogs are accepted by prior arrangement at the discretion of the management. However, we do request that they are not allowed into the public areas and are only permitted in the ground floor bedrooms, where they must not be left unaccompanied.
