Ross Bar and Lounge
The Ross Bar and Lounge is located within the North West Castle hotel, with its comfortable and aforementioned adjoining lounge is a great place to relax and enjoy a drink with family, friends or team members. Whether you arrive for a quiet drink, a meal with company, friends, or family or if you are ending a day of enjoyment around the Cally Golf course. The Ross Bar and Lounge is the location to relax in to put a finishing touch to your evening or start to your day.
This fascinating oak panelled room was originally created by the famous Arctic explorer and previous owner of North West Castle, Sir John Ross. The Ross Bar was designed and created to be a replica of his own cabin on his ship, The Victory. He used the lounge to demonstrate the art of polar navigation to his guests and you can still see an original mural depicting one of his voyages through the Arctic ice.
Nowadays, The Ross Bar carries an impressive range of beers, spirits and single malt whiskies to suit many a different taste bud and pallet, as well as fine wines and champagnes for special occasions or for that moment when you just want to treat yourself to something extra special.
During the summer months, lunches are served daily in the Ross bar from 12.00pm-2.00pm however a selection of light snacks are available throughout the day.
